Founded in 2024 by Jonathan “Jonno” McCartney, Prolink was built from the ground up with a clear purpose: to raise the bar for what clients and apprentices alike should expect from a trade experience. Backed by over 20 years of industry know-how, Jonno’s vision was never just about wires and installations—it was about connection, leadership, and leaving a legacy of quality, care, and integrity.
Today, Prolink proudly services residential, commercial, industrial, council, and government clients across Australia, delivering tailored electrical, data, air conditioning, renewables, and maintenance solutions. JONATHAN MCCARTNEY
I’m Jonno McCartney, Managing Director of Prolink Trade Group. I started Prolink with one goal in mind, to build an electrical and data business that puts people first and shows up when it matters.
No fuss, no ego, just solid work, honest communication, and a commitment to doing things properly.
Before I became an electrician, I worked 13 different jobs. Every one of them taught me something about people, culture, and what real service looks like. Those lessons shaped Prolink into what it is today — a team built on accountability, curiosity, and genuine care for our clients, our partners, and our community.
We specialise in the stuff that keeps homes and businesses running safely and smoothly: electrical, data, CCTV, IT, fibre installs, renewables, office and factory fitouts, switchboard and mains upgrades, LED lighting upgrades, pool installs, and commercial builds and maintenance. Big or small, we treat every job like it matters because it does.
But what really sets us apart is the way we operate. We’re relationship-first. We communicate clearly. We take pride in our workmanship. And we’re always looking for ways to make life easier and more connected for the people we work with.
Outside of Prolink I lead the Rising Sun Charity Band, works with schools and youth programs to help young people understand employability, mindset, and the power of backing yourself. Everything I do comes back to building strong communities and helping people realise their potential.
Prolink isn’t just a trade service it’s part of a bigger mission to lift standards, build trust, and make a positive impact through the simplest and most powerful thing we’ve got: how we show up every day.

Giving back is really important to us at ProLink Trade Group.
Giving back to those who need it most.
Together alongside Building Connections, we managed to raise over $150K since The Rising Son Charity from our charity day in February 2023. Our aim was to support service men, women, and their families dealing with PTSD, as well as our veterans who didn’t return home. We are now planning to host another event in March 2024 and strive to break our donation record for the next one!
We love seeing the impact of women coming into the construction industry. We have been sponsors of EWIT since 2020. Jonno & Holly attend institute events arranged by EWIT to support and answer questions for the up and coming lady tradies!
Covid hit most people where it hurts, especially their mental health, but no one suffered more than our elderly, especially those in home care packages. We have been supporting in home aged care and domestic violence organisations since 2017, and we allocate an extra hour of our time to provide a human experience in the trade industry. We sit down and have a cuppa with them!
